"Brian Sacks", "Arizona basketball trainer"Brian Sacks, Founder & Chief Jumper
Jump Athletic founder and Chief Jumper Brian Sacks is no stranger to youth sports. He started playing competitive youth sports at the age of 7 in Long Island, NY traveling across the country to different cities playing competitive soccer. The team of kids played together for four years and won an incredible 80% of its games over that span of time. Sacks also played youth basketball in competitive club leagues and tournaments in NY  and attended some of the top basketball camps in the east coast. He continued to develop in many different sports as he entered his high school years playing varsity basketball, soccer and tennis.

Given his enthusiasm for sports on the court and field, it’s no surprise that the love of the game translated off the playing field too. Sacks dabbled in sports radio on the former local ESPN Affiliate 860 AM with a radio show called Sports Junkies. As well, his passion for basketball in particular,  led Sacks to coach competitive youth basketball and start what is now the premier youth basketball training academy and club in Arizona. A proven entrepreneur with a knack for launching companies, he started bizAZ magazine in 1997. After growing it into the most respected business magazine in Arizona he sold it to Gannett Co. in 2005. Sacks went on to start bizSanDiego, a magazine and online brand for the greater San Diego area in 2006. He is married to Kathy Sacks who leads marketing for Jump. They have a little Jumper, Juliana.


 

"Arizona basketball trainer"Coach Reggie Fox, Director of Basketball Operations
Over the last 20 years, Reggie Fox a committed educator, trainer and community-oriented mentor, has played and coached professional basketball all over the world. After an All-American career at the University of Wyoming, Reggie spent 12 years playing professionally with stops in the NBA, CBA as well as leagues internationally. He has traveled the world with Earvin “Magic” Johnson and his all-star team of ex-NBA players. Reggie has led several youth basketball camps and successful training clinics including the very popular Triple Threat Basketball Academy youth clinics in Michigan with brothers and partners Larry and Magic Johnson.

He most recently won “WBA Coach of the Year” as he led the Decatur Court Kings to their first WBA Pro championship in its inaugural season in 2008. He also recently served as NBA assistant in-training and scout as well as Coach and General Manager in the Continental Basketball Association, The International Basketball League, the LNBP (#1 Pro-league in Mexico) and also won a championship in the LBS (#2 Pro-league in Mexico) while earning “Coach of the Year honors”. Early in his career as young coach and veteran player, Coach Fox served under the tutelage of some of the most respected names in basketball including Magic Johnson, Kurt Rambis (Minnesota Timberwolves Head Coach), Flip Saunders (Washington Wizards Head Coach), Lester Conner (Indiana Pacers Associate Head Coach) and Mark Aguirre (formerly the Coach of New York Knicks).


 

"Phoenix boys basketball trainer"Dave Camadini, Trainer and Coach
Former point guard and coach Dave Camadini has lots of heart and deep experience in basketball. Graduating from Aliso Niguel high school, he earned All-League honors as he led his team in scoring, assists, steals, and 3-point shooting while being named team MVP. Dave went on to play professionally in Uruguay where he averaged 15 points a game. He then returned to the states to play at Laramie County Community College.

Dave earned All-Conference honors as he led his team in scoring, assists and led the highly competitive Region IX conference in three-point shooting at 55%. He had a career game against the 9th best team in the nation when he scored 39pts, 7assts, 5rebs, 5steals, on 15-24 shooting. He culminated his collegiate career at Chadron State College, a Division II school in Nebraska. He led his team to an 8-1 record while averaging 25pts, shooting 52% from the field, and nailing 49 3-pointers. In his last game in Europe, he scored 17 points in the first 6 minutes of the game. He turned down offers to play in both Germany and the Czech Republic to return to school for his senior year. Dave went on to lead his team in points, assists, steals, and 3-point shooting while earning All-Conference honors and being named team MVP. Dave’s pro career was cut short as he suffered a devastating knee injury just two weeks before he was scheduled to return to Uruguay.

 



Anthony Blake, Trainer and Coach
With over 10 years of experience in basketball training, Blake’s contributions developed from coaching, tutoring, and mentoring young adults. His athletic career began at South Mountain High School where he stood out in varsity Basketball, Track and Field, and Cross Country, while obtaining his Private Pilots License his senior year. His college experience as a walk-on player and a student-coach for Phoenix Community College is valued, as the team won: NJCAA DII Region 1 Championship, NJCAA DII District 1 Championship, and made a NJCAA National Tournament Final Four appearance. Passion for the game led Anthony into coaching and training with: Suns Nite Hoops, YMCA, Arizona Special Olympics, and Phoenix Parks & Recreation with the goals of expanding essential life skills, and directing youth toward furthering their education and developing tomorrow’s top athletes. Anthony graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in English and Political Sciences.

 


Meisha Fox, Trainer and Coach
Meisha has always possessed a strong passion for the game of basketball since her playing career began in high school at W. H. Spencer High School in Columbus, GA where she gained led her team to win a regional tournament, earning them an appearance to state finals for the first time in school history. By her junior and senior year she was voted player of the year in her district. Meisha attended nationally ranked Life University in Atlanta. With a standout career there, she helped her team earn back-to-back appearances to the NAIA Div I national tournament and a #1 ranking in 2001 with a 31-3 season. Meisha went on to Europe to start her pro career in Hungary with stops in Germany, South America as well as the U.S. Minor Leagues. She gained experience as both a  player and assistant coach in several of the Women’s Pro Leagues. She was also voted top female coach/trainer three consecutive years at Steve Smith’s (former NBA all-pro/Olympian) basketball camp as well as one of the top trainers at Magic Johnson’s “Triple-Threat basketball academy” in East Lansing, Mich.


Kelli Johnson, Trainer and Coach
Kelli prides herself in her ability to develop players and bring out the best. She is a coach at Xavier College Prep, in addition to training and coaching for Jump. Kelli’s career spans decades. She won two high school championships and was named City Player of the Year. She had 26 collegiate offers, accepting Pepperdine University’s offer. There she led the Waves to one AIAW small college appearance in 1979, one AIAW large college appearance in 1981, and one WNIT appearance in 1982. After college, Kelli was one of the few players that participated in the Womens’ Basketball League (WBL), a league credited as being one of the first professional leagues for women in the U.S. From there emerged the ABL (the WNBA predecessor). Kelli was invited to the ABL tryout camp and was placed on the draft list.  At 33 and a mother of three young children at the time, she went no further with playing, and she began coaching. She has worked with young athletes of all levels as well as WNBA players and LPGA golfers. Her daughter Kaliya, a member of TEAM USA, also trains with her.


Carlo Crockom, Trainer and Coach
Coach a shooting guard from Den, Colo graduated from Thornton High School in 1989. Played football, basketball and track ended up a 12 time letterman. In basketball Crockom achieved many goals, Lead team for four years in scoring, steals and assists. Was the top scorer in high school history at 1867pts, averaged 24pts 7assists 4rebs a game in his high school career. Once scored 41pts in state playoff game. Went 1st team all conference and 1st team all state three times in high school career! 1994 Started coaching, training and mentoring young adults for over 17yrs started off with a few AAU Clubs AZ Jaguars, AZ Prowlers Elite and also AZ Supreme. Over 1700 career wins 217 losses and averaging 95% ratio wins to losses. 5 time National Championships, 178 Tournament Championships, 184 Runner up Championships and numerous League Championships and League Runner ups! 2001 started his high school coaching career at Willow Canyon in Az. In 9yrs Crockom has compiled a record of 153 wins and 27 losses, winning 3 regional Championships. 8 out of the 10 years Crockom has been coaching the school has went to the State Playoffs. Coach Crockom has also helped numerous student athletes accomplish their goals in moving on to college. One player that Crokom coached went on to Cornell University! Also schools like New Mexico University, Simpson, St. Benedict University, and numerous juco programs Central, Pima and also Mesa CC here in AZ. Crockom’s goal as a coach is to help kids get to a high level of basketball and to help them fulfill their dreams as a STUDENT athlete.


Serge Angounou, Trainer
Serge is a 6’8 240lb forward originally from Cameroon (West Africa). He moved to the US at the age of 17 and speaks English, French and Spanish. In high school he was named New Mexico player of the year and Gatorade player of the year during his senior year before accepting a scholarship to Arizona State University. After starting at ASU for four years, Serge has  played  professionally in the NBA Development League (NBDL) with the Austin Toros the affiliate of the San Antonio spurs. Following his first Pro stint Serge did some  intense training with Coach Reggie Fox to get prepared for overseas basketball. The training was very valuable as Serge got his first international pro opportunity in the CIBACOPA which is the second division professional league in Mexico.

He played with the Frayless de Guasave and averaged 18ppg and 12rpg. Serge then earned an opportunity in the top pro league in Mexico (LNPB) playing with the Titanes Capital where he excelled averaging  19ppg and 10rpg. Serge has a reputation for being a talented coach with a knack for training young players the fundamentals that build great ball handlers.

 


 

Mohamed Tangara, Trainer and Coach
Mohamed Tangara is a native of Malian, Africa. Tangara played at the University of Arizona from 2004-2008, and Chaminade University from 2008-2009. Tangara is a member of The Mali senior basketball national team 2000 to present. He was also a member of The Mali Junior National Team from 1998-2000 and won the bronze medal with the Mali National Junior team in the 2000 Junior Africa Cup. Tangara went to Mount Zion Christian Academy in NC Durham from 2000-2004 where he ranked as the No. 38 overall high school prospect in the country and No. 11 power forward averaging 15.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocked shots per game as a senior in high school.

During the summer of 2003, Tangara led Team Georgia Elite to the semifinals of the AAU Super Showcase and was voted a top-five player at the NBA Camp, where he earned best defensive player. Tangara was also a member of the 2004 high school All American game and played with superstars such as Dwight Howard, DeMarcus Nelson, and Sean Singletary. Tangara was a member of the 2005 Pac-10 champions University of Arizona basketball team and finished out his college career at Chaminate University in Honolulu where he led the team in rebounds and was second in scoring. Tangara was named captain of the Mali national senior team for the 2011 FIBA Africa (Olympic qualification games) and it currently ranked the #9 player in Africa where he plays professionally.
